Applications
The Reference 600 system enables a broad range of electrochemical studies including:
Electrochemical Impedance-Based Biosensing:
Cell adhesion and growth monitoring: measuring changes in impedance as cells attach or spread on electrodes
Biomolecular interactions: label-free detection of proteins, DNA, or other biomolecules via EIS
Sensor development: characterizing bioelectrochemical sensors, including affinity and impedance sensors
Biomaterials Characterization
Surface modification studies: tracking impedance changes on functionalized biomaterial surfaces
Electrode tissue interface analysis: evaluating coatings or materials for implants by impedance behavior
Corrosion and degradation of implants: assessing electrochemical stability of metallic or polymeric implants in physiological conditions
